ANcybernetics develops bio-inspired and digital technologies for the marine environment, with the aim of making data collection and ocean education more accessible, sustainable, and engaging. Based in Ancona as an academic spin-off of the Università Politecnica delle Marche, we combine scientific research with innovation to design autonomous underwater vehicles, educational robotics, and digital solutions that support marine science, environmental monitoring and experiential learning.
Our work spans marine robotics — creating smart, non-invasive robotic systems for ocean exploration and ecosystem study — and educational robotics, developing interactive kits and programmes that integrate STEAM learning and environmental awareness for all ages.
We envision a smarter blue future, where robotics, artificial intelligence and edutainment become powerful tools to educate, protect, and inspire — above and below the surface of the sea.
